Friends

This is something very new to me, but I will give it a try.  It is an account of how Jeanette and I became friends and “family.”
When my granddaughter, Erin, and her grandson, Mark, started their freshmen year at UNC-Greensboro, they immediately found themselves in the same group of friends.  They enjoyed each other’s company and soon became steady friends, spending a lot of time together.  Their friendship became deeper and in their junior year, they became engaged.  When Erin graduated in May, 2010, they were married on May 22, 2010.  Mark had changed his major, so he had to go another year and until December 2011.  Mark went to school and worked part-time and Erin worked full time.  Erin worked as a nanny and then in April of 2013, she became a teacher at a daycare in Greensboro for 18-24 month old children.  In August, she was placed in a pre-K group and is very happy with her new job.  Mark was an assistant coach for the team that won the state championship in 2012.  Mark is teaching and coaching football and is really enjoying it.
