the mid 1960's.
We met her Uncle Seaton and his family. He was so much like Grandma. Damascus
was a beautiful, quaint town with the most wonderful mountains. The house they lived
in sat down in a valley with the mountains all around them. We also saw where they went
to school. This schoolhouse was built with the most beautiful stones . Mama really
enjoyed showing us around, and we loved being there to see her childhood memories.

realized how much she had suffered in the loss of
her two sons...All of her children respected and
admired her so very much. She was the most
humble and kind person you would ever want to
meet. All of her children are with her and Grandpa now, as well
as some of her grandchildren...Jewell, Shirley, Shelby and Brenda.
